A selection of Recoil Size Kits Thread Repair. Recoil inserts are screwed directly into an enlarged tapped hole. A tap and installation tool is included with these kits.

  • Stainless inserts.
  • Contents: Ground intermediate (2nd) tap. Inserts. Installation/tang break off tool. Full instructions.
  • Manufactured to BS 4377 BS 3049 parts 1 & 2.
  • Recoil helically-wound thread inserts are formed from 18-8 (Type 304) Stainless Steel.
  • The wire in most sizes has a tensile strength of greater than 200,000 P.S.I. and a finish better than 32 micro inches.
