A selection of Keylocking Size Kits Thread Repair. Keylocking inserts are used to repair threads by tapping the worn thread to a standard larger thread, twisting the insert into place and then driving in the keys to lock the insert. Also known as keenserts.
- Each kit contains an installation tool and the quantity of inserts shown. One size per kit.
- Also known as keenserts, keylocking inserts are available in mild steel and stainless steel.
- Installation is by drilling out the old thread, countersinking, tapping new thread with a standard tap, screwing the insert until slightly below the surface, then tapping down the keys using the tool supplied and a hammer.
