Category Information

Bearings - Plastic - PEEK - Glass Balls

Glass Balls PEEK Plastic Bearings. PEEK (Polyetheretherketone), is a high temperature, high-performance engineering polymer.

  • Plastic bearings, also known as polymer bearings, are bearings made from various types of plastics or polymer materials. Used in a wide range of applications across different industries where traditional metal bearings may not be suitable.
  • These bearings offer unique advantages such as corrosion resistance, low friction, lightweight construction, and non-magnetic properties. Uses include Food and Beverage Industry, Medical and Laboratory Equipment, Chemical Industry,HVAC Systems.
  • Plastic ball bearings do not use the same precision standards as those for precision ball bearings. An expanded range may be available on special order. Please enquire.
  • Races made from PEEK - Balls made from 316 Stainless Steel - Cages from PEEK
  • PEEK offers chemical and water resistance similar to PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) but can operate at higher temperatures
  • PEEK can be used continuously to 338 Deg F (170 Deg C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties.
  • Wear, Chemical & Hydrolysis Resistant. Exceptional performance over a wide range of temperatures and extreme conditions.
  • Low Smoke and Toxic Gas Emission
