Category Information
Springs - Die - Imperial - Medium-Heavy DutyMedium-Heavy Duty Imperial Die Springs. Colour coded red. Vapor degassed high tensile strength chromium alloy steel.
- Heavy duty, high-stress compression springs designed to handle large loads and high temperatures in demanding applications like metalworking dies and production tooling.
- Unlike standard compression springs, die springs are typically made from rectangular or square wire, offering greater strength and deflection capabilities.
- Many die springs are colour-coded to indicate their load capacity, allowing for easy identification and selection. An expanded range may be available on special order. Please enquire.
- Designed for long life cycle with constant high end deflections and shot peened to increase fatigue life.
- Maximum deflection is 37 percent of the length
- Efficient operating range is 20 to 30 percent of the length
- Spring Ends: Squared and ground.
