316L Grade Stainless Steel Metallic Balls. Easier to machine than standard 316 grade.

Grades shown are AFBMA and ISO3290-1 which relates primarily to the ovality of the ball rather than the diametrical tolerance
General balls offered for sale may be from different ball lots, so the diametrical tolerance shown, indicates a variance that might be encountered if balls of different gauges are mixed, unless a ball gauge is specified for the part.
For diametrically critical applications, a special quote can be obtained for balls of a specified ball gauge.
316L Stainless Steel has the same properties as 316, except that it has a lower carbon content. It is also easier to machine.
Non-magnetic. Resistant to severe corrosive conditions.
Hardness: Rockwell C: 25-39.
Specific Gravity: 7.972.
